1. When did you first become interested in music?
I remember my Mum playing guitar to me when I was very small, and all my favourite cartoons and films had songs. I grew up assuming that people just sang every day, in every situation - so that's what I do now!

2. What is your favorite genre of music?
I love the singer-songwriters of the 70s, but I also like pop, hip-hop, electronics, disco - basically anything with a good melody.

3. What is your signature silly dance move?
I'm quite good at The Robot!

4. What was your favorite song as a child?
'Part Of Your World' from The Little Mermaid

5. What do you love most about music or working in music?
The connection with people from all over the world. Where words fail, music speaks!

6. What has been your favorite musical experience of your life?
I once played at the bedside of a patient and his family at my local hospital. He was very poorly and everyone was exhausted, but the songs brought a sense of calm and peace into the room. By the end, everyone was humming along together and holding hands.

7. What was your inspiration when you wrote our Hello Song?
I started with the different ways people say Hello ('hello, hey'), then I wrote lyrics which could be accompanied by actions. My 21 month old daughter, Ripley, loves waving - so that's in there! Her learning inspires a lot of my songs.

8. What was your favorite toy or activity as a child?
Making a den under the kitchen table!
